Depends on the game. From what I know most games let you play online for free.

Most of the games are free. I know that Everquest requires you to buy game cards at retail stores.

depends on the game,Final Fantasy series require a credit card payment but Battlefront 2 does not charge you.

It depends on what site you have access.For example on Xbox live you got it free,but on other sites not really.
