This is one that's always confused me. I'm a pre-op mtf transexual... but I'm mostly attracted to other gender-variant type people - butch or tomboyish girls, ftm's, crossdressers, androgynous goth and emo types.
Other than confused, what does that make me? Bi, tri, homosexual (attracted to 'my own type' ie transgenders)?

ok, I'm seeing a few questions about labels and why I need one.
I don't... but it's a luxury I wouldn't mind having. A quick easy way to describe what I'm interested in for people who'd like to know if they qualify.

Wow, this is a great question.
I'm not transsexual (I'm a biologically born woman), but I, too, am attracted to all gender-variant people and pretty much everyone who's non-mainstream and makes people do a double take.
I actually even asked about it in this question:

But I didn't get many satisfactory answers, because we simply don't have the words in our society to describe gender and sexuality in all the varying shades and nuances that it comes in. Although I really, really like your take on homosexuality as being attracted to your own type- I never thought of it that way! Seriously- you kind of blew my mind a little bit (in a good way).
It's times like these when I just say that I'm queer in the broadest sense of the term. But good luck on figuring it out! When you do, tell me, eh?

I'm an FTM, and I'm also attracted to gender-variants as well as straight-acters. I consider myself bisexual.

why do you need a lable ? you are a person and you have your own desires dont question them or feel you have to justify thm to others . just enjoy who you are you!
