Does your computer reboot while you are using the computer? If not, go to start -> control panel -> Administrative Tools -> Scheduled Events and delete anything that looks like it might shut down your machine. If yes, you either have a virus or a bad power supply unit. Boot into Safemode and let superantispyware run a scan. If nothing comes up, have your power supply replaced. Inside your pc's case, this is the small grey box that the power cable connects to.

Have your mouse over your desktop, away from any program icons, and right click. Switch the tabs at the top to screen saver, change the time to what you want, the screen saver will come on after being unused by the user for the time you set it for. to prevent the logging you off every time the screen saver goes on, go to the last tab, and look for a check box, it should be checked, it deals with going to log-in window after screen saver, uncheck the box, if needed for a mac, please specify.

You need to go to power option and check the hibernation mode and standby mode. You can turn them off or reset the amount of time before they activate. You can change the length of time before your screen savers come on by going to display in you control panel. You can also change the power options in control panel.
