I see others through the prism of perception that is mine.

Because I really can't see others for what they truly are. I can only catch glimpses of their grandeur.

And yet, my perception of others is tainted by my own weaknesses and imperfections, so I also see myself in their actions and words. My reactions to those stimuli help me to understand myself.

Namaste.

Although there is only one me, yes, I do see others through me like my mother and my father.
I feel like there are others beyond me like someone else in history who I never had the chance of meeting within my personality.
But within myself I feel like me and it's just so hard to explain.
I guess because I see someone else's life story or personality and realize that I am that person.

i think i tend to see others thru all three ways..perhaps the first 2 most frequently ...i say this because i try to act certain ways because i feel that In General, most people would like to be treated w/ consideration... most people would think this and this is Rude, or that and that is Polite. there is a general idealism of what Etiquette is, vs what is Offensive. therefore, i relate to other people's actions as either following, or going against, "Social norms". however, there are also many factors that shape people's personalities..recently i have felt that a child's Characteristics (for example, shyness, or naturally confient, etc), COUPLED with how the parents brought up the child, make what type of personality a person will have in their later lives. and so, i can see how others might Act or Think a certain way because they went thru this or that..same as me, i might think a certain way or have tendencies to lean towards certain things because my parents were divorced, or my mother is strict, or i used to be shy and i really worked hard to become more outgoing, etc. i also try to see situtions in other people's point of view, and therefore putting myself in their shoes, "within" myself.

hope that answers ur question, not sure what u were lookign for! :)

Well my goodness, I would not want to look at them within myself or they might create a multiple personality problem. ha ha
But it is best to look through your mind and then see them and try and read them for their meanings from within them, and then take it back into your mind and analyze and then come to a resolve.

You are the creator of your world.
Gautama Buddha said that everything you experience with your 6 senses are but your own 'concepts'. Nothing to do with "Reality" or "What IS"!
So mankind is involved in 'illusion' and 'delusion' until they become 'enlightened'!.
