I would say that Idaho , Wyoming or Utah would not have as many stupid laws as there are in most other states, the southern states are still policed by the gov, more so than other states so it is sure not in the south, and that is amazing since each state by our constitution written by our forefathers gave each state its own rights as a independent country , and the federal gov, only had jurisdiction over 3 things 1 espionage, 2 counterfeiting, 3 interstate commerce, but the gov, has manipulated the constitution until they have jurisdiction over practically every aspect of our lives, thru the deliberate misinterpretation of the constitution of the commerce clause, the original jurisdiction was to impede a state from charging tariffs or fees t o another state or to keep people or machinery or ??? from coming into a state or from leaving a state, not enough people complained , so they have went from one constitutional right to another and either watered them down or completely destroyed them , so no one in this country has freedom anymore , but, the people could change that if they would work on it.

Your question isn't clear. What do you mean by the Real Freedom? All states are governed by both Federal law and State law -- so there is no freedom from law enforcement. If you mean in which state is there less government influence it would probably be Texas, Idaho and Montana. Folks in those states tend to take care of things themselves and use a lot of common sense rather than relying so much on laws and law enforcement to handle things.
