I pay around 220 a year through GEICO on my HD Ultra Classic. Of course I'm a older biker, 30 years experience.

You need to get a quote based on your driving experience, and if you have all of the states requirements fulfilled for driving a Harley Davidson.
I can tell you my insurance from AAA Auto Club in Southern California is $700 per year, that's comprehensive for a 2005 FLSTFSE with custom options and a high end price tag.
Hope that helps.

I would agree with the first answer. I pay about $700 a year in the DC, MD, VA area as well on a 2003 Harley Davidson Road King. That is through GEICO.
If you are interested in Harley related questions, answers and chat then go to www.anythinghd.com. The folks there will be glad to answer your questions.

Motorcycle insurance in general goes by how many CC's your engine is. Not necessarily the make of the bike. They ask the make of the bike for information purposes. How much it is will also depend on how long you've had a motorcycle license and if you have any tickets or DUI's. It will also depend on where you live and how many companies there are competing for your business and of course the level of coverage you want.
Best bet, call around or go online and get some quotes.
One thing...read your policy and make sure you've got more than 2500.00 in med coverage.
Most companies will give a minor discount for completion of a motorcycle safety course.

It's too way much.
Depends on your driving record, age and sex and if you took a motorcycle course. I'm sixty years old been driving a motorcycle for more then 45 years and have a perfect driving record - no tickets. I've taken two beginner and eight advanced course. Once I flew to Florida to take the Motorman course and the price of the plane ticket was worth it. I have an 2006 Ultra Classic Electra Glide Screaming Eagle with 15K plus in options and pay 1800.00 a year for full coverage from State Farm. A little advice if your a new rider - take a motorcycle saftey class. Ride On Brother.

You will need to check around and it will depend on the area you are living in. We have a Harley 2003 Softail Classic and a 2005 Honda 1100 Shadow...and it runs us around $450.00 a year. We live in a small town in West Tennessee and have ours through the Farm Bureau.

Depends on what type of coverage you want, what the value of your bike is, what year it is, how many driving violations you have had, if you have had a motorcycle safety course, how old you might be and so on...
You need to call around and get some quotes to get an accurate answer.

Also depends where you live. If you live in the same county as a major city, the premiums are higher.
