Well if the window is open a crack, just close it. If the window actually has a crack in it I would try to put something in front or it. Hang a blanket or something. Turn the heater up. Or go to a warmer part of the house. Or put some more layers of clothes on. But I would look into getting the window repaired.

1.) Step away from the computer. You be brain fried.
2.) Shut the window! If it's cold out why in blue blazes do you have it open anyway??? Are you having another blonde moment in your life? ;-)
3.) Take 10 and stop working.
4.) Go to the kitchen and get hot chocolate, coffee, tea, soup, or whatever you have buried in the cabinets.
5.) Think of hot thoughts about your bf or gf. Don't have one? Pick your favorite celebrity to think about.
6.) Break time is over. Get back to work!!!

If you have a bath go soak. If you have an electric blanket use that. You could also make a hot drink like tea or coffee, and snuggle under a blanket. Put two pairs of socks on. When you get a chance get some plastic to put over the hole in your window. You could use cardboard too.

Okay first fix the window, put some cardboard on the crack and fix it up with duct tape or masking tape, then if you are still cold, turn up the heat, drink some coffee or hot chocolate, wear thermal undies or flannel pyjamas, have some brandy or if you are really desperate bake some potatoes and put them in your pockets!

Can you soak in a hot bath? That is the only thing that helps me when I am chilled to the bone. If not, is there any blankets? You have to get warm before you can do paper work! Is there a stiff shot of whiskey around?

Close the window, and turn on the heat, because if paying for the Internet is more important than the heating bill that what you paid for deal with it!
