Yes I think we are all born neutral. If you make the right decisions and are fortunate along the way, it is more difficult to be despicable, but if your life goes the other way, we can easily be disposed to behave in the most despicable ways. If you sell out big time you may find yourself gradually getting in so deep that you may be asked, or could even volunteer for such behavior. However, if you find some truth for yourself, it is very difficult to do that as you can be strong enough no matter what. But, you never know until the time comes. "There but for the Grace of God, go I" is especially meaningful for your question in the mind of any reasonable person.

Of course I am capable of "despicable" actions, I am human.

No, I try to avoid having a superiority complex. I can only do the best I can, with whatever understanding I have come to possess.

I tink that humans have both a great capacity for evil and a great capacity for good. Whether they turn out good or evil is mainly determined by their immediate environment
