Evolution: life formed and evolved
Creationism: a god creates life and we are here
That's a question that even the most brilliant people in the world cannot answer. All I can say is that some kind of God somehow formed and life and we evolved from there.
We know from our current top scientific discoveries that time almost equals distance times velocity with a bit of imbalance on the side, advancing Einstein's theories.
Creationists argue against evolutionists, "who created that monkey" or the "lightening bolt" that started life that evolves in your theories, but you can also add: how did God form? How did time start? My mind goes blank when it comes to this and I, and I bet, no one else can comprehend this at this time.

all matter started to close in and formed one sphere getting smaller and more compact untill everything in the universe was about the size of a seed. then god took his might sword and smashed it. the released energy made an explosion so tremendous, galaxies scattered therefore creating movement, which is a way to show time...
Either that or yesterday was a dream, and today is the start of time.

Before the notion of time was invented, I suppose that things happened pretty much the same as before they invented the concept, with the exception that people kept missing thier appointments.

Which time are you talking?
Dinosaurs or before the earth stood still?
I guess the almighty had a dream that he should do something about the Universe so then there was light.

Nothing existed, so nothing happened! But! Having said that. If that was the case, then where did all the matter come from? you cannot get something from nothing! Hey? Now I've got you thinking! lol.
