Training to be a physician in a commitment not to be taken lightly. If you think 10 years is a long time, you don't have the cojones to do this.

Instead, consider a career in allied health. Have you thought about being a physician assistant? You get to Rx drugs and treat patients. PA programs require a baccalaureate degree plus 3 years of PA school. No residency. This is GREAT if you are concerned about time constraints or burnout.

Nursing is also great. You can earn a degree in 2, 4 or 6 years. 6 years includes that amount of time it takes to earns a MSN and/or nurse practitioner degree. Nurses are in HUGE demand.

You will need to examine the reasons for wanting to become a doctor. If the reasons are right, the time in school will be worthwhile. If the reasons are not right, you likely won't get into a medical school program anyway. Also, you could potentially become a licensed family physician within 8 years, depending on the program.

Going to medical school doesn't take 10 to 15 years and you feel that is to long for you. A slower process would even take longer than that and you might be ready for retirement.

honestly take Triple Award technological information in case you could, on the grounds which you may wish somewhat solid grades in that to extend onto the A-point sciences, yet you may wish candy A's or A* in them in case you pick to look solid for once you hold on with for scientific college. in case you could not take Triple Award technological information, then take Double technological information (middle + extra). do not in basic terms take middle technological information/single award! and don't take extra utilized technological information in year 11 like I did. this is ineffective and you will't do the sciences at a point with it. Then attempt to get A's or A*s in English and Maths GCSE. those 4/5 GCSE's are the main obligatory relating to stepping into scientific college. Spanish and Geography are 'academic' A-ranges so which you're o.k. with those. yet your GCSE's do not count up on your A-ranges, so in case you pick to take issues like artwork and nutrients Tech besides, this is effective.

you could go to college, then find a related job... and try to apply to med school when you're ready. but it'll be harder that way, b/c in the interviews they'll ask why you didn't app to med sch right after undergrad. plus med school is killer, and iono if you could handle a job plus med school...
