what was your fav movie and music. I have to say Back to the future and gremlins are two that stick out in my head. Of course i loved most 80's movies. I went to see Duran. Duran not too long ago and man did that bring back the memories. 80's was a great time to grow up!!

anybody remember Howard the duck? I remember that my mom went out and got a VCR and than that movie. we thought we where the bomb having a VCR. LOL

On my 18th birthday I pulled the curtains closed, made a bunch of hard shelled tacos, turned up the tv, and put Poltergeist in the vcr. Of comedies I liked Top Secret and I would watch the sitcom Married with Children. The music I liked was AC/DC and Megadeth. The groans from so called heavy metal now don't even sound like words. Life was happier, more upbeat, and there was no reality tv programs.

I can't remember any movies but as far as music goes... Depeche Mode,Heaven 17, Ultravox, Simple Minds, Human League. I could go on...80"s music was the best

There was some great movies, Breakfast Club,Pretty in pink,back to the future,the princess bride,robocop,ghostbusters,die hard,top gun,this is spinal tap,st. elmos fire,dirty dancing,footloose,just to name a few...and of course howard the duck

Yes, I remember Howard the Duck. That movie was hilarious!! Also, at that time (high school), The Police (sycronicity) was huge!!

favorite movie was beetlejuice - but i think that was more of the 90's
and i didn't get into music all that much when i was young...i listened to (and went to a concert) of the beach boys...and liked the monkey's too. cyndie lopper was the best however.
