80 km/hr * 10^5cm/km * 1hr/3600sec = 2222 cm/sec

There are 100,000 cm in a km, and 3600 seconds in an hour. Therefore, 80 km = 80*100,000 cm or 8,000,000 cm. Now we have the equation:

80km/hr = 8,000,000cm/3600sec.

Dividing yields approximately 2222.2 cm/sec.

1 km is 100000 cm and 1 hr is 60 X 60 sec
hence 80 km/hr is 80 X 100000 divide by 3600
or 2222.2222 cm/s

80km/hr x (10^5cm/1km) x (1hr/3600s)= 20000/9 = 2222.22 cm/s

ps: ^5 means to the power of 5

there are 3600 sec.in the hour ,and from km to cm we multiply by 100000.
so the answer will be in this form :80X100000/3600
80000/360=2222.222
approximatly 2222cm/sec.

Multiply by conversion factor, in the new units

80 x 100,000cm divided by 3600sec

Cancel out the old units, leave new desired units in the equation - thats the trick
