He was real wrong to say those nasty things, but i do not see how money would help anything. what really gets me is that i hear black people say that word and not one person even gasp, yet a white guy says it and they cant believe they have heard that word. Racism knows no color. to the lady who gave an answer addressed to me. I by no means meant to offend anyone. i really did not know there was a diff. i do appreciate you explaining that to me.

this is for c.coen - I am a black female so let me show you the differnce and why what Michael Richards did was so bad. n*gger and n*gga are two different things. the later is the word used among other blacks more than the former. It is hard for someone who is not black to understand. I can say to my black friends " hey n*gga - what's up?!", "yo n*gga - I like your car" or "n*gga - stop playing. you are funny" or even "You are my n*gga" meaning you are my good friend. But if I go to that same friend and say "n*gger - you should be hanging from a tree" you can bet that he would not be very happy with me. So when you here blacks saying that to each other or in rap songs remember there is a HUGE difference between the two words.

He doesn't owe them anything, not money, and certainly not an apology. It's his opinion and he should stick to it. What harm does remarks do. Making him pay just instills that we are different from one another because of race.
