Late at night I get so bored I can't stand it. There's nothing on TV, I'm burned out on console games, and sleep is not an option until later. I figure my only escape is the Internet. The internet is vast and mostly empty. What can I do that cures my undying boredom?

Look for a game called click, drag, type. It doesn't give you any real instructions, you are supposed to figure it out on your own. It can eat up some time. However, it requires sound, just a warning.

Or you could find some online comics and read through all the archives, or answer some questions here.

Try:

1. Following links off of interactive news sites like digg.com and reddit.com. They're full of new and interesting links. You can comment on them in the respective communities and you can submit your own.

2. Perusing online videos at Google Videos and YouTube. People upload all kinds of wacky videos there.

3. Peruse flickr.com and look at photos uploaded by other users.

4. Learning something from wikipedia, the online encyclopedia - just keep following the links. You can edit it and add articles as well.

5. Playing free games online - check out Yahoo games, for example - you can play chess, cards, etc. against other people. There are also many sites that provide free games written in Flash.

6. Playing around with social networking - try Facebook or MySpace.

7. Subscribing to and reading various blogs, or start your own.

Well, this is what I do for the most part. Hope it helps.

Answer questions from this website that you know the answers to! Ask questions that you really want answer to! Or play internet games ( can find them by clicking the start button then all programs then games). Actually there are games you can play that aren't even on the internet ( you can find them the same way).
