Pets shouldn't be treated like humans because they ARE NOT humans. If you are talking about a dog, treat him like a dog, not a human being. It is inhumane to treat an animal in a way that isn't right to it. Treat it more like a dog and u will see results.
(or cat, bird, fish, crocodile etc)

Treated like humans how?? I understand loving your pet, letting it stay indoors, sleep in your bed, etc. Is that what you mean by being treated like a human? And what do you mean by attack? Attack as in how and what were the surrounding circumstances? Dogs/cats generally won't be aggressive without reason be it being scared and feeling threatened or defending itself unless the dog/cat was raised to be aggressive or it's sick. I would consult your vet if you can't think of a reason why it would suddenly turn on you.

Bottom line averyone that truly loves their pet will treat them kinda like they would a human, w/love compassion and respect. For those that say their just animals, there wrong, when a dog cries because you leave for work and they're lonely that shows a distinct personality. plus when a pet attacks there are 3 common reasons for this. protection of themselves (fear), protection of family members (they're loved ones), and finally beacuse there heartless master (I use master loosely in this context) has trained this response from them. Sometimes you can't do anything to stop a fearfull pet from attacking as they live in paranoya(spelling). This also is an exhibit of a humanistic trait. Love your pet, play with your pet, make sure you don't let your pet be your master, and surely your relationship with him/her will be a fruitfull one for both of you. Good luck.

I disagree with the advice above.Lots of people have pets and that is their babies..Sometime they are the breed if its a dog,a cat sometime can have ferrel in them, meaning a wild animal, birds bite if they are not held a lot....i had a chow once that i really loved but as he got older ,his breed being as it was he got mean...It depends alot on their blood line, more than how they are treated i believe

They also have emotions. They too can be afraid, aggressive, crazy, and ill tempered.
