HI.
I have a lopsided face, sorta. One side of my face is longer than the other and wider. And my eye is a little deeper than my other. It is not noticable when you look at me upfront but it really bothers me. I notice it non stop. It's wild. Anyways only 2 people have pointed it out and they only noticed that my eyes were unparallel. Like I said not truly noticable, it is more noticeable in pictures. Anyways I plan on getting surgery to make everything propotional and symmetric. I plan on getting surgery because i know that if i don't fix it, it is going to bother me for the rest of my life. So my questions are: Have you ever met anyone with this condition? Can facial bone be sanded down? And what would you do in my position?

p.s. I am not sending pike, there are weird people on the internet!(no offense). And ask me any questions if this wasn't clear.

No-one's face is totally symmetrical. I think you are focusing on these minor flaws too much and exaggerating how bad they are in your mind and obsessing over them. Most people probably wouldn't even notice unless they actually studied your face.

I think shaving the bone down is too extreme for something that may be relatively minor or not particular noticeable. I don't think a surgeon will agree to it.

HTH.

honey you said its not that noticeable and not many people can see it. but i guess its a self esteem thing, which is totally understandable. however things always seem SO much worse in our eyes, so if its really a problem for you (nobody else) then all the best to you. good luck.x

It all depends on how bad it bothers you, but I think that you should try to accept that this is the way that god made you, and wanted you to be, who would want to mess with that?
