Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival has only three chords and is easy and fun to play.
One with a few more chords is House of the Rising Sun by the Animals. This one has very easy chord changes and covers many of the basic open chords. A GREAT song for beginners to learn with.

How long it takes to learn guitar depends on how good you want to get and how much practice you put in. How good you can get with 1-2 hours a day for a few months depends on what methods you use to practice. There are effective practice methods that will help you make the best use of your time. This course is one of the best. https://bitly.im/aMSW5 It's not just about how much you play but how effectively you play that will determine how good you will get.

well well.... My first was some tune for Bach but i recommend songs that has a constant rhythm (chords playing) not string picking or plucking and do not try solos right now... OK?
I think that Knocking on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan... very very easy... or any other song that repeats 3-4 open chords (open chords are the one that you don't have to bar a complete fret to do it)... learning guitar is a very exciting experience, good luck

The first song I learned was "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. It's just G, D, C and Am. The intro is basically a G too but picked like in the song.

"Oh, My Darling Clementine" only has two chords, G and D. I don't know how far along you are in your lessons, but the G chord is played by playing the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th strings without holding any down, and the D chord is played by holding those same strings down on the 7th fret. If you're playing in 4/4 time, you play the G chord for three measures, D for one, G for one, D for two, and end with the G chord. Good luck!
