I am an 18 year old girl in India.
At a very young age i got involved with a man much older to me. I was naive and did an abortion upon the recommendation and with the help of the man who got me pregnant. Ever since I have been on the pill.
I'm no longer involved with him, but with a relative is the guardian of my secret and who stays with us. He's not an immediate relation so its not incest.
Recently, for the past 2 months I have gotten my period late and for only 36 to 48 hours and spotting a few times in the middle of my cycle.
Since I've been continuously on the pill for 4 years, is it possible it's some bad side effect? Could it be cancer? or is it just a natural change in cycle?

You should immediately see the gynocologist but I'm hundred percent sure its not cancer. Dont worry, my girlfriend had a similar experience and she went to the gynocologist who gave her some pills that she had to take without missing a SINGLE day. That stopped her periods for the course of the medicine for 2 months and after that everything resumed fine. You should try something like that.
Cancer is FAR FAR AWAY.. dont worry..hehe

Please go see your doctor. You could have spotting and be pregnant. It could be the pill. Sometimes very athletic girls have only spotting and not regular periods.
