You might want to try some kitty litter. It usually has a pleasant smell and it will soak up any of the remaining oil on the floor.

Wash the area in which the oil spilled with hot soapy water about three times (get clean water and start over three times). Then sprinkle the area with baking soda to absorb the remaining smell.
Even with all that, you can expect the smell to hang around for a day or two. If it's still strong after that, you probably still have a small leak somewhere.
....Why are you shouting?

Well I suggest if you must burn oil, burn it outside in the garden. But in the meantime, household detergent should break down the oil and then you can clean it up, the smell should disappear after a day or so.
Why is it so smelly? Clean oil doesn't usually smell very much.
Unlike the other day when I rebuilt a cylinder head in the kitchen, now that old oil, boy does that smell, but when you are a petrol head any engine related smell is rather nice.

Throw some flour over the oil and just wipe it with a dry cloth. For the smell, pour some white vinegar over it..after a while the smell will be gone..

Try drying the oil spill with powdered cement first, and then apply a good brand of dish washing soap, and scrub down and hose off several times until the Oder fades. Good luck.

hot soapy water will break the oil residue down then you just need to soak it up with paper towels, and treat with a scented oil.
