The orbit of the earth is a plane. Consider clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. Btw, those terms come from the way a shadow moves on a sundial.

It is arbitrary, but by convention, North is at the top. The majority of habitable land and the world's population is in the Northern Hemisphere. The question is: "Are half the globes upside down?"

yeah, in fact the universe is inside out, so really all globes don't exist. just like the fact that universe backwards is esrev! inu. which in latin means. "i have a big piece of cheese" so really the universe stems from a piece of cheese which later became a globe shaped as the moon with a cow made of milk on it. that's were the stereotype that all cows are made of dirt and all milk is made of headphones comes from. i hope i helped you!
