Now that the season is winding down and bowl games are being chosen how many of the other teams and fans are thankful for the onside kick flap and the ensuing replay blunder...Christmass came early????

We should be in the hunt for the National Title, but with all of texass and Oregon's losses, we wouldn't have had enough BCS points to get up to #2 with all of the one loss teams in there anyway.

Oregon got exposed for the mediocre team they are several times this year, and it doesn't get any better than Oklahoma-Nebraska. Hopefully we will get a chance to expose another team ranked ahead of us in a BCS bowl. BOOMER SOONER!!

On the subject of that horrible call, I read an article by the replay guy that will just make you mad, but it's good reading:

"The replay official for the game between Oklahoma and Oregon football game says he knew that the Sooners recovered a pivotal onside kickoff late in the game."

But Gordon Riese told the Oklahoman that replay rules prevented him from correcting on-field officials who made the wrong call and awarded possession to Oregon, even though it was clear to Riese that Oklahoma's Allen Patrick had recovered the ball...."

Well, i agree with you about the onside kick. that was the worst officated game i've ever seen, but both teams were overrated. Oklahoma got away with a push off, and 2 delay of game penalties. also, if they hadnt given up over 500 yards of offense the kick wouldnt have mattered. dont think i like oregon cause i hate the pac-10 and i do like adrian peterson but im just being honest.

I agree that OK got screwed in that OR game!!
That pisspoor officiating job is yet ANOTHER reason why there should be a field of the top 12 or 16 teams playing elimination playoff football at the end of a 10 or 11 game regular season in Div. 1-A.

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!1

The refs from that game never should set foot on a football field again.

Oklahoma still wouldn't be as highly ranked as USC or Michigan, even if they won that game fairly.

It is still unfair. Think about the rules. No matter who you cheer for, you know that game was wrong.
