buy her an ipod. or something thats cheap but good. dont be tempted with video player mp3s because sometimes they are too slow in loading songs and stuff. i have an ipod, and it's ood. it doesnt freeze and the controls are user-friendly.

it depends on your budget. there are cheap kinds and theres also expensive type of mp3's, depending on their memory capacity. but every mp3 needs computer for uploading of songs. i already tried sandisk and ipod, between the two, i like ipod. ask your daughter what she wants, she probably wants ipod since its more "in" now adays.

look for the storage capacity it has and one that has more audio formats.a good one is an apple ipod or the microsoft zume
