questions like: what came first the chicken or the egg?
if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there does it make a sound?
questions like these are asked over and over and over and over.....and i want to know why people don't just figure them out for themselves.
personally, i think they are space and time fillers/wasters.

Maybe you should surf there are many more categories than this one and there are some new questions there. It does get mundane but maybe those people did not read the previous questions to see they were being repetitive. Maybe it is just us that do that because we are tuned in so much? I don't really know but it is their right to get their own answers to their questions the same or not.

Oh, probably a lot of people are new to this & unless there is something of note to discuss a lot of addicted people just have fun asking. I've gotten so that I don't even bother answering questions I consider to be worthwhile, let alone inane, because I've answered them before & to answer again is a waste of my time.

My guess is; either these people weren't paying attention the fist hundred or so times or they weren't happy with the answers.
