i thought usc was supposed to be in a rebuilding year. and yet they're a game away from another national title appearance. so they've been in the hunt for like four years already. what the hell. i don't get it. i was a sc fan, but not anymore and i want to know..what is it about them. god i hope they lose to UCLA. actually, they probably will. UCLA's defense can match USC.

Well coached!! I mean if it was only a group of players they would be out of the hunt after 4 years. Pete Carol is an excellent motivator and great recruiter.That is what college is "recruiting". Since Pete Carol has been there they have won the National Championship or been in contention. I am not an USC fan but you can not deny that they have built an excellent program. As far as this just being an rebuilding year someone forgot to tell USC and Pete C.

Yeah, this is a rebuilding year for USC. Suprise - the team has managed to hang in there all season. Guess what - they aren't losing many players this year either. Next season could be interesting.
ucla - defense??? The bRUINS have a defensive back who was saying he was in over his head earlier this season - and he was a starter. - I think the guy's name was Van?
ImaGMan --- USC didn't play a team with solid defense? What about Arkansas? They are from that tough - hard-nosed defense conference, the SEC. After the pasting the Hogs got in Los Angeles last year, I would expect their team to at least keep the score respectableUSC. Nope -- didn't happen, Hogs lost by 36

USC had one of the best offseason recruiting in the nation. Well think about this would you want to go to USC if you had the chance to and were going to start on the football team? I would. They also say Pete Caroll is one of the best coaches in ncaa football and they say he is a nice guy too.

they seem so good because they play in the pac-10. thats like playin in the WAC. Also, they get great recruiting classes cause their all gettin paid like Bush was.
