Can i get Home phone service with out a security deposit?

Question

I haven't had a home phone in a whiile while ,just using a cell..I contacted AT@T but they want my first born, urine sample and finger prints..Only kidding but they said it may take about 15 days to process and 115 security deposit... All I need is basic service .. is there a phone company that is customer friendly
