i am 21 and currently working for Aldi and i'm making close to 18 dollars an hour working around 25 hours a week. it keeps me stable but i'm still living with my mom. i quit school about a year ago because it was draining me financially and i'm still trying to pay back loans. do you think it would be better for me to stay at aldi doing something i love making 18 dollars for 25-30 hours a week or go back to school? would that be enough money to live on?

if your happy where you are the stay there if not go back to school...but i think you would like to get out of your moms house and let her live her life...but either way would be good

It depends on where you live whether $450.00 per week would be enough money to live on, and whether you would have a roommate or live in an efficiency apartment. The pay is good and you love the job, but where do you see yourself in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years. Where do you want to be in life? What does it take to become a manager at Aldi, or to be given full time hours? Maybe you go back to school or maybe you stay in your job and either way live happily ever after. You make the call. When you really want it, school is always a great option, even if not for career growth, but for persona growth, knowledge and development. I would go to school at least part time if I were only working part time. But, its up to you. You seem happy! Only you know what is right for your life.

If you want to work at Aldi for the rest of your life don't go back to school......
if you want to be doctor and make 1000 times what you making at Aldi plus a very good position among people GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!

Just go to school part-time - but only do it for yourself. If Aldi is what you really love, then stay there and don't go to school.

No, that is not enough money to live on ... I think you should try to do both ... keep working 25-30 hrs and go to school. You can do it ! and you will be glad you did in the future.

Go to school! get an education. If you want a good life you better study hard because working without a degree wont get you anywhere. trust me. if you need money to go school then get financial aid. you have to do whatever it is to be successful so if i were you i'd invest in school.
