What is wrong with LADDU?

In south India, there are so many temples for Hindus just to make a speciality of every temple our forefathers have made this arrangements(like Tirupathi-laddu,Pazahani-Panchamirtham,Sabarimala-Ghee coconut,........)
Speciality of the laddu:
The laddu shows the way of (feel)pray the god,i mean laddu looks like a strong ball, once we bite then we feel the taste of the sweets like that's before the Tirupathii dharshan we have underwent to several fastening

This is like asking why do we have corn flakes for breakfast, and why not anything else.
Theres no reason for it, I guess. Its just a matter of preference by the authorities.

Its cheaper than any other sweet.
