I will be flying from SFO to SEA, Seattle next weekend, then driving to Vancouver. Any suggestions on where I should make a stop on my way to Vancouver (views, museum, etc...)? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I'd suggest stopping in Seattle to visit the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Seattle Center has some fun holiday stuff going on (ice skating, holiday train, carasoul, etc.) and from there, you could take the monorail to downtown. It drops you off at Westlake Center, which is where the downtown holiday activities are going on.

On the way to Vancouver, if it's a nice day, I'd also recommend seeing Deception Pass State Park. You take Hwy. 20 towards Anacortes and then head south towards Oak Harbor. It's about 15 miles from the highway (I'd guess). It's beautiful there...

As for Vancouver, when I've been there I've enjoyed visiting Granville Island, Stanley Park, Chinatown, and Harbor Centre Tower. You won't be lacking in things to do there!

Have fun!

Yes, in Seattle, definitely see the Space Needle. Walk through Pike Market, and don't forget to stop by the area where they sell fish. There's a really great science museum aimed at kids but I would go back there any day.

If at all possible, somehow get on a boat that will go through Puget Sound. You can whale-watch for orcas. There were tons last time I was there.

you basically could clean it with the apartment company. funds has some exceptionally sturdy deals. or you could take a Trailways bus (lots nicer than greyhound) precise into Vancouver. probable greater value-effective than renting a vehicle and you will no longer could purchase gasoline. in case you do circulate with a vehicle, make certain to gasoline up in this area of the border. it will value you an arm and a leg around the border. My $.02: large hotel and stupidly much less costly (a minimum of while i became into there final) is the Listel on Robson and the region is large (on the area of each and every thing interior the city)

Visit the village of La Conner.
You turn off to the West before you get to Mount Vernon.
