Does anyone else notice that the soundtracks in movies aren't as good as they once were?

True they arent and this coming from a guy who has over 200 soundtracks. I think the lord of the Ring was the last soundtracks i bought Not even Batman Begins stirred me.Now i listen to soundtracks from video games to fill the void and Japanese anime which they do very nicely,lol

I think it depends on the music you like - Garden State was fantastic - as were all the soundtracks from The Sopranos and Six Feet Under. I don't care for orchestral soundtracks, although if you like classical piano music, The Piano was a good one.

Oh god yes! I agree 100%! Back in the day music was half of what sold the movie and a lot of the cinematic experience now it's big explosions and bad acting by incredibly famous no-talent celebrities, music has been pushed to the side and I swear they keep regurgitating the same pieces of music in different keys for different movies.

I think they're better. But then I don't go to see crap movies.
