I had my menstrual cycle for the first three months of my pregnancy. My OB said that it is unusual, but it happens with a few women. It is generally not harmful, but if any bleeding occurs during a pregnancy, of course you should see a doctor.

yes it is possible. I had my period for four months. It is because your body does not produce enough hcg to make your body realize you are pregnant. There is nothing wrong with it, it just sucks. Most women love being pregnant because you don't have a period for 9+ months. just as long as it is not acompanied my cramping your doctor will not take notice to it. I actually bleed for 4 months straight. THe whole time. it sucked. good luck.

yes, although it is rare. Seems not as rare as doctors might even know. I had my period until 4 months as well. I did not find out for the longes time, even though we were trying.

I was throwing up like no tomorrow for weeks. I saw 2 doctors and both told my the lining of my stomach was infected which was inducing vomiting. Dumb me I believed them both. Coming to find out I was pregnant. There was nothing wrong with my stomach. The sickness carried on until 2 days after I had my son.

Most doctors will tell you no, or that it's very unlikely.

I had my period the first three months I was pregnant with my son. It was a lot lighter than usual, though.

If you know for sure that you are pregnant and you're experiencing vaginal bleeding, you need to have your doc examine you. Could be a sign of miscarriage.
