If that were true we would all be gay, but I am not saying that it may not have something to do with a percentage of it. What about the ones who are born with the tendencies to look more feminine or manly that are the opposite sex? I would think some of it would be genetic somehow.

I had a shitty relationship with my dad, but when I came out he was the only person who was supportive and told me he loved me no matter what. And it was genuine. And for the first time I had major respect for him..
And I had my heart broken twice very badly by two boyfriends, but I think a LOT of girls have that and don't become lesbians.
I really doubt it has anything to do with it though. I've known since like third grade.

I was neglected by my mother. Abused in some ways. Almost put in foster care. But my dad was great. And I'm a lesbian.
I was hurt physically by a couple of boys though.

No, that theory has been dismissed long ago. Gay people come from homes that are just like straight people's. Some great, some so so, some bad.
Its easier to say that, than to think that it might be in the genes. Its also a way for bigots hide behind a scapegoat.

Um, no. Most gay people are attracted to members of the same sex. That is what makes them gay. Just as straight people are attracted to members of the opposite sex.

No. I grew up in a good environment with loving parents and only had good relationships, all of which ended in mutual break-ups. I was just born bisexual.
