If you can afford it, and can get what you want, go for it. Americans are selling out our country and act like they don't know what their doing.
I buy USA products any time over imports if I can. I always encourage stores to stock Made In The USA products also.
Well over 90% of all toys sold in America today are made in China where violations of child-labor and human-rights laws run rampant. Children under what we would consider a legal working age are routinely forced to work 12 hours a day or more.
In his 412-page "Economic Report of the President" transmitted to the Congress on Monday, March 8, 2004, President Bush said,
"when a good or service is produced more cheaply abroad, it makes more sense to import it than to make or provide it domestically."
Somethings wrong with that man!
As our country grows exponentially in a trade deficit, we want to do something that can't or won't be done by our own government. We should all promote American Made products and services. we need promote those who manufacture and offer services within the United States. This is the only way to prevent nearly all manufacturers from leaving our borders and taking the revenues and jobs with them.
I salute those who stay here and work hard everyday to ensure that they not only take care of their families, but work hard to keep our nation strong and free by producing products right here in the United States of America.

I always try to buy products made in the U.S.A., but finding these products gets harder every day. Today, I shopped three stores and observed 8 out of 10 items were "Made in China". China is a Communist country. How do products made in a Communist country arrive on the shelves of stores in America? Because American capitalists are exactly that:, "Capitalists", seeking to reap the most profits from the least expenditure.

There is good questions on this subject as the only way i can find out what iam buying is that i do the research on the manufacturer and what is invovled in the product.America has some very high quality products and european products has too. There is too much rubbish on the market were in the past there was quality control and what is coming out of some asian countrys ends up in the tip the very next day to a lack of quality control which also safe guards from people buying these products being hurt

Yes, always. I can go any where and say that I'm an American, but I can not say I'm Japanese for example. Unless I have no choice, I think I should not consume products from any place I know I would not be accepted as one of them. Craze?, maybe. I just bought a Chrysler 300 /C when every single friend and family I know has a foreign made car. I know, they feel superior to me just because that, ha ha.

If I can. It's hard to find products completely made here and often they're not as reasonably priced as those made by companies based in other coutries (or at least outsourced to them). I make an effort, but I'm not willing to go too far out of the way to do it.

Good luck. The ReUGLYcans sold everything to the highest bidder overseas-- particularly China which is even taking American garbage and recycling it into big money.
The US has too many idiots in charge.

For the obvious reason, I think "Hecho en Mehico" is a better
short-term strategy.
I'll buy almost anything that isn't made in China.

If you can find anything made here, most of the time I just try to not buy anything made in China

There are very little stuff made 100% in the US, most of them come from China, Malasya, etc.
So, you better forget about this issue, is really old

I don't think it's possible. Try to find American made shoes. Most people would be walking around bare foot.
