of course! as long as there is heat, evaporation can occur. boiling and freezing and melting... evaporation is occuring! and if its below the substance's freezing point, then no. evaporation does not occur when something is soild. as long as there is some form of liquid in the substance, it would turn to gas during the process called evaporation

I think you're confusing what parts of the plant are involved with photosynthysis. Photosynthesis involves chlorophyll, so any part of a plant that has chlorophyll is typically green, like the leaves, and to a lesser degree the stems. Some leaves have other pigments that mask the green with other colors (like the "Crimson King Norway maple, which has dark red-purple leaves or purple cabbage), but the chlorophyll is still present. As photosynthesis occurs, excess water vapor is released through the stomata in the leaves, which creates something of a "chain reaction" down to the roots where water is absorbed. If plants would be required to have flowers for photosynthesis, how would plants such as ferns or horsetails (nonflowering plants which aren't parasitic) or algae (also non-flowering) produce carbohydrates for their own internal structures (one of the purposes of the carbohydrates produced) or their own food? Even flowering plants wouldn't be able to undergo photosynthesis until they bloomed (and by then they'd die, as some trees, orchids, and other plants don't flower until their several years old). Flowers are only involved in the reproduction of the species.

Yes. Evaporation requires only heat energy.

definitely its possible..only heat or infrared radiations are necessary for evaporation and not oxygen

for as long there is heat.
for example... alcohol left in a open place.. there is no combustion that took place
