I did have one of these, in 1978.
I was in college, living in the residential community on campus. We had had our Thanksgiving dinner before the holiday started. I had eaten a great deal. Then, I started drinking cheap Scotch, warm, with a friend.
Next thing I know, I'm looking in my toilet saying to myself, "Barf in the toilet, not on the floor. Barf in the toilet, not on the floor." I barfed all over the bathroom, my bedroom, and passed out.
It was 15 years before I could stand the smell of Scotch.
