i'm lookin for some old school 80's rock bands names and some from the 90's i wanna do some throw back rock music cause the stuff thats out now stinks its fake rock nothin rock about whats out now they slap and leather wrist band with spikes and an ac/dc or pink flyof shirt and they call them a rock band please

I'm all about the 90s so here are a bunch of good 90s bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Gin Blossoms, Lit, Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, Blues Traveler, Counting Crows, Stabbing Westward (more so electronica though), Green Day, Sublime, Weezer, Eve 6, Pearl Jam, Sister Hazel, Radio Head, Soul Asylum, Guns N Roses, REM, Rage Against the Machine, Sound Garden, The Offspring. Soo many good 90s bands.

Alice In Chains (my personal favorite)
Mad Season (same singer, completely different)
Mother Love Bone (some members became Pearl Jam)
Motorhead (Ace of Spades is very well known)
Pantera (just hell yeah!)
Rebel Meets Rebel (not exactly old but it's good stuff, it's Pantera and David Allen Coe)
Corrosion of Conformity (I'm just getting into these guys, good stuff)
Seven Mary Three (they've had some big hits but are not well know to everyone)
Temple of the Dog (the band chronologically between Mother Love Bone and Pearl Jam)
Twisted Sister (for that 80's feel)

White Snake, Slaughter, Def Leppard, Cinderella, Soft Cell, Van Halen, Joan Jett, Poision, Kiss, Judas Priest, try old Metallica, Nirvana was always good. This is a little earlier but the Doors. Almost forgot the Motley Crue
