the finished thing approximately aerial bombardment is that the airplane shows up, dumps its load, and is long previous in a count number of minutes. there's no longer time for stepped forward warning except the attacker sends a airplane over and drops leaflets the day until now (which, in spite of each and every of the criticism we get, the human beings did interior the fire bombings and a pair of atomic bombs against Japan in WW II). With artillery bombardment the army shifting the artillery into place is exceptionally evident for an afternoon or 2 until now that's desperate up and in a position to start shelling the city. That became into very actual in until now situations until now artillery became lighter and greater cellular. on the different hand, warnings have been given interior the desire of averting an prolonged siege or having to typhoon the partitions.

I'm 67 so I've seen it up close things were a lot simpler then but the cost of living was low and so were the wages less then a dollar an hour some places gas was 29 cents a gallon for 97 octane 39 cents for 100 octane now this was in the 60's early bread was 29 cents a loaf a 6 oz coke was 5 cents no dep. we rented a hole house for 75.00 $ a month and thought it was high but times were easier. in school they had math science history and spelling and gym so if i could take some of the knowledge with me 50's and 60's would be my choice thanks

I would love to have been a young adult during the late 1960's either in LA to have seen all those great bands play on the Sunset Strip or in San Francisco being a hippy in Haight-Asbury.

The 20s for sure. The War was over, and the Depression hadn't kicked in. Also you had prohibition so everybody drank more, plus you could get anything at the drug store. It was wild.
