Clean beaches? East coast? Kind of a contradiction, isn't it?

Those from New Jersey go to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware.
New Hampshire is more known for its beautiful sceneries, more of the mountains.
Vermont is also known for its spectacular scenery. It is known for its winding roads, pretty villages in the hillside & covered bridges. It has also mountains, streams & lakes.
Pennsylvania is also covered with mountains, hills & valleys.
Boston, on the other hand is more known for its historical sites like the Freedom Trail & its duck tours.
Maine is known for its fishing villages & lobsters. They have sandy beaches!
Connecticut is the Constitution State. Rhode Island on the other hand is the smallest state & is known for its mansions which you can rent. It has also sandy beaches.
After going through all of these, I think I will recommend Delaware. I had been studying Geography recently & had studied the 50 US States by using Microsoft Encarta for Kids, 2006, Microsoft Premium DVD 2006 & Yahoo travel.

We always went to Nags Head, North Carolina. There are beaches all up and down the Outer Banks of North Carolina in that area: Kitty Hawk, Duck, Kill Devil Hills. You have to go farther to Myrtle Beach, SC - also very popular. Hilton Head Island, SC is another popular beach.

Key West was beautiful and the water was clean and clear. The further you go down the Atlantic (ie. Caribbean) the nicer the beaches.
