a hard copy is something that can be touched...and felt....and soft copy is somethin can only be seen...like floppy and compcat idsk...
hard copy is like a print out from printer...which you can touch...or else a photo copy or a print on any thing...


.....so some one from the office tells you to get a hard copy then he means to get a print of the same...

I think a hard copy means a printed copy that you can physically give to someone, versus an email or word document still on the computer.

Of course, it wouldn't hurt to double check with the person.

Hard copy is a paper copy. Soft copy is a file on your computer. More importantly, you should always ask for clarification if you don't understand. Its OK!

It means that they think your full of sh*t and want you to prove what your talking about! So what were you doing, bragging about something you produced and someone doesn't believe you? Well did you or didn't you? Well prove it!
