I agree. You know, it used to be that everything, was special, especially Christmas. Now a days, you see Easter trees and Foth of July lights, I dont know what to think.
It makes Christmas less special if you do it too early, and before Thanksgiving is way to early. I think one should deffinatly wait till December.
Even though Christmas is fun and magical, if you dont wait and you treat the whole winter season like Christmas, it loses its charm

Sometimes I like to play my Christmas CD's in the middle of the summer when it's 100 plus degrees outside, just to try and think of snow and feel happy.
But, when it gets close to Thanksgiving, I'd just soon start hearing Christmas music afterwards. This year one of my favorite radio stations went to 24 hour christmas music on Nov. 17th, the Friday before Thanksgiving and will continue until Dec. 26th. I thought that was a little too much. They could've at least waited until the Friday after Thanksgiving.
For a month straight, it does get old. But, when you just hear Christmas music occassionally, I love it.
A tradition that we always had in my household was to leave the radio on all night Christmas Eve and listen to Christmas music. However, way back when that was the only time they played Christmas music 24 hours straight.
Too much too soon does get irritating.

Christmas music is wonderful, in my opinion, and I really don't see any reason to wait until after Thanksgiving.
