Pure speculation at this point.

Preston was going to Webber at the same time Yang went to him. He was going to tell him he needed time off. She was going to tell him that she was in over her head. Neither situation is criminal nor is it grounds for a suspension. No harm, no foul.

Preston will have to take some time off to rehabilitate his hand. Shepherd will have to work with him to make sure that the problem is in deed a thing of the past. Haun will have to come in and take over his surgeries. But there is no reason to suspend him. And in the meanwhile, he can still teach. It is a teaching hospital.

As for Christina, Bailey will have to keep an eye on her to make sure that she doesn't crack up from the strain. That is the big problem now. After the miscarriage Burke was the only thing that kept Yang from going insane. This time there is no Burke to hold her up. She just had a lady's heart blow up in her face and the love of her life turn his back on her. Bailey will have to keep a close eye on her like Izzie and George. They are all preoccupied right now.
