Go see a lawyer and draft a will. To be on the safe side you should ask your husband to draft a will also. Most married couples or even couples who have been together for a long period of time want to make sure that if anything happens to them the other person has some security. Make sure you talk to people about your intentions for your possessions and property, sometimes family members try to contest the will and cause a legal battle. The more people who know how you feel the better your spouses chances are of staving off any type of contest in court.

If she is causing you a large amount of stress and distress, talk to a lawyer and see if you can get a civil restraining order against her so that she is required to stay away from you and your husband.

Good Luck and Hang in there.

You can have a lawyer prepare an air tight will that will be hard to contest. You should look up estate lawyers in your area and have your will made ASAP. Also, put your house and vehicles etc. in your husbands name as well as yours. (If you know you are not going to end up getting divorced). Anything with both your manes on titles, deeds, policies etc. will revert back to the surviving person should one of you pass away.

Write a will like the rest of the selfish, self absorbed, alcoholics who disown their children. It's so much easier than trying to get to the root of the problem....I mean why bother? She's only your child right? Good Lord lady, talk about hopping on the fast track to hell! Enjoy the ride!

A legal will with all that spelled out in it.

I am 21 and I have one for my daughter and family. She will have no legal standing at all to touch anything if you say that she can't. If your husband was to die as well, you can have it in your will to give the possessions to charity, friends, or other relatives.

well she is your daughter and if you put every thing in your husband name she can contest it in court and have it help up in court for many years that what i would do if i were you daughter so the best thing for you to do is to check with a attorney and see what your option are.

Get it stated in your will that you do not want her recieving anything.

I would talk to a lawyer. After my grandfather died alot of people decided to contest his will since they believed that they should have gotten more than what he gave them right before he died.
