yesterday i loaned a friend some money to put gas in her car, it was a crisis and she really needed help.
She said she would have the money back to me today, but she is not answering my calls.
my husband has just become unemployed and we need all the money we have got, and she knows this....so why would she avoid my calls?
i have felt for a while now that she uses me, she always expects me to offer her a bed to sleep on when she is in my town, plus she stole my car in the middle of the night one time so she could meet up for sex with guys off the net.
she never calls me, she only gets in touch when she wants something, and she never says thankyou.
will i get my cash back, or did i get played?

i don't know about getting your cash back, but this is one friend that you don't need. she plays on your sympathies....she is avoiding your calls because she either doesn't have the money or she doesn't want to pay you back....try to talk to her about your feelings...it will be easy once you get started....but it seems to me that she is selfish type....

congratuations on being a decent human being and don't let this experience sour you on other friendships...

Wow. One, why do you eve call this a friend. The next time she calls, turn on her about all your stuff. Don't let her get a word in. Talk about how you and your husband are unemployed. If she comes to your house, open the door, curse at her and then slam the door. You'll get money one way or another.

This is a hard one. From the sounds of it you have been played for a fool. She is evidently a user of people. Unless you can get your money back then you may aswell kiss it goodbye. If Iwas you do not lend her any more money. Just tell her that you are cashstrapped yourselves . Then again she could be embarassed.I

She sounds like a crack addict. You need to put your foot down and say NO, next time she asks for something. Friendship is a two way street. I've had that happen to me a while ago, and if I ever see him again, he's a dead man.

she is using you, she should have no reason as to why she is ignoring your phone calls. Your best bet will be to separate your friendship with her, your family comes first.

She is not a friend. She is straight up using you. You need to ditch her and get a new friend.
