So what kind of surgery are we talking about? Local anesthetics on a limb or outer layer of skin? If I could aquire the right tools (scalpel, anesthetia, needles, whatever else) and had decent instructions, I might consider it. I like seeing the inside of my own body, it's pretty trippy. But like an apendectimy, probably not. Open heart surgery, definitely not. Brain surgery, now that might be fun! Your brain can't feel anything, and it would be fun to make my leg twitch!

We ask questions just to get an idea, the final decision depends on self....
But performing a surgery, I DONT THINK SO, y? its common sense mate, doctor study for 5-8 years before they can perform practice, and this, this is abt surgery, not even a idiot will perform surgery himself even though a doctor will guide...

I surely have a typical understanding of synostosis, yet while you have got extra. we've not found out approximately that yet, however the scientific expert sounds like he's attempt to stay away from pointless surgical treatment, in view that present day concepts are ineffective. I accept as true with actual treatment, i'm sorry i can not help you.

When I answer a medical question, I tell them to see a doctor, cause the people on here are giving them experiences and they don't have medical degrees. I ask opinions, but I don't always follow advice.

Me perform a surgery on myself???
That sounds impossible to me!
Doctor in real life is much more helpful, I believe.

Hey, I wouldn't go to the bathroom if someone on Answers told me to! That's how badly I mistrust the information given, when you actually get any real answers in the first place. This place has gone to the dogs! It really has.

No! But, I have performed really minor "surgery" on myself; such as the removal of a four inch long "splinter" of fiberglass from the palm of my hand.

I had such good luck with the "do it yourself appendectomy" kit I got off of ebay I'd be willing to get more medical advice from answers.

I trust them on some thing, but not on others... Some things, like fantasy football, I don't care if I get bad advice... Other things, like medical advice, I leave to professionals...
