Drop out. Seriously. Get married and have children. You'll be happier than chasing some "career".

Girl Don't be so desperate! First of all have your ever considered taking a placement test /or career test or what ever they call it to see if maybe you would like or enjoy something that interests you? And before you sign up for anything else find out about the classes your going to take so you know what to expect and the atmosphere your will been.
Also your not going to get along with everyone just do your best and don't worry about anyone else, you should concentrate on your studies, but i do agree on at lest one or two friends find out what people are going, suggest a study group of some kind.
If you do decide to transfer to a University there shouldn't' have any trouble meeting people if you can get involved anyway don't give up yet you've just started sweetie and i am sure you have some time to figure it out!!!

CC is different from a university. I did the same thing. If you hate it that bad just transfer already. Are you having a hard time appreciating the other types of people? You sound like you want to be around kids your own age - CC attracts a lot of adult learners. Transfer already. Also, there's no harm (and in your case this is probably a good recommendation) in leaving school for a few years until you know what you really want. Nothing like a few years in a crappy 9-5 to make college look really good!

It is very important to make use of what you have at the moment. What makes you think that when you move to a 4 yr college things will be different?. Proverbs 18:21 says " The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. I think you have to stop saying you hate the community college and develop a positive attitude towards it. You will eventually find some friends and not long from now, you will move to a 4yr college. Hang in there and all the best.

Don't ever say you don't want to go to college again, because in reality you wouldn't be in college in the first place if you really didn't want to be there. I kind of feel your pain, I once went to a community college for 2 semesters and I really didn't like it either.

But after my two semesters there, I transferred to a 4 year school and I still didn't like it at first. Once I was there for awhile, I got so used to it and eventually I graduated and I am so happy I never dropped out. If once the semester is over and feel that you still want to jump off a bridge, then transfer before you make any hasty decisions such as dropping out, because when some people drop out, they never go back and I don't want that to be your delima.

Keep your head up and know that things will get better, and that you will meet more people and meet new friends.College life seems forever, and also seems so torturous if you have professors who don't care about their students. But just remember, that once College is over, no one and I mean no one can ever take that education away from you and your options in life will be so much greater than you giving up.

If I still haven't convinced you, at least consider just taking a
semester off and just relax, sometimes that really works. I've taken a semester or two off just to recooperate, and I still graduated and I don't regret it to this day.

Take care and God Bless!!

Mmm,.. sounds like you should wait until these classes are over and take a one year,.. or half a year break... to realize how boreing things are. Then go back,...

Or you could just keep makeing things feel like they are takeing longer by being anxious for them to end sooner/faster.

Or you could realize this is not going to take as long as Elementary school, time does seem to be going faster these days for you,.. so no matter how long your in this school it's like less then what a year in elementary school felt like. Now that's gone out of your mind mostly. So this may be going alot faster then you think.

*sighs* or you could trade bodies with me and be with an annoying person constantly yelling in your ear every day while you body is in agony from physical every second because you were in a couple accidents.

May you find something to space out on while your in school ignoreing people. Maybe get a Tamagotchi and scare everyone away.

I know what you mean. Trust me! Especially when you dont know anyone. Just think about how soon you will be finished with all of your undergrad work. It wont last forever...This is something that you are doing to further your own education. It is for you and not those wierd creepy people that go to your school. Dont let them take your focus away of what is important...getting the hell outta there as soon as you can. Stay off the bridge for now! lol It'll be alright`

The best thing I can tell you is, do your best there for as long as you need. And the transfer. If you transfer then you will most likely be happier. But don't quit CC, because you won't ever get to transfer.

If you are taking classes you are interested in, then there will be plenty of people that have things in common with you. Also, take this time to learn what you are really interested in before investing alot of money in a college where you feel lost.

Maybe you can transfer to another CC, or an inexpensive university that you cant transfer out of. Dont give up on your education. If all else fails, just be a loner and study.
