You strained your vocal cords. Take it easy in the singing, talking, screaming dept. for a while and you'll get better.

you could jsut have a soar throat. i get those sometimes for singing a lot. or yelling. it should go away soon, but in the mean time, drink some thereaflu or something, maybe green tea. something warm and good to soothe it. if it doesnt get better inthe next 4 or 5 days, get to the docter.

You have to remember that there is quite a bit of processing going on with their vocal tracks. Some of it is just not possible without several thousand dollars in equipment. To try and sound like that naturally is just not a realistic expectation. So don't do it.

You may have strained your vocal chords. Some of us just weren't cut out for the screaming.

one time i screamed so hard, i threw up

it wasn't great. i don't think i'll do it again. but i got better. you should too. don't whisper. it's almost as bad as screaming. just talk plainly. don't get too excited. try two teaspoons of pure honey. it soothes the throat. tastes sweet too!
