Yes he is.
In fact he's the first one who told in the early 70's .
He was my mothers favorite singer, I also find him one of the best singers we have today.
In the 60's he was normally chosen to play & sing the part in West Side Story, finally they did not take him (because he's black) and took Richard Beymer for the part.
My favorite song of him is" the twelft of never".

Yes, I was quite surprised, but I thought I had heard just recently that he was gay. Doesn't make his music sound any different though. He's a wonderful singer.

Yes, he is gay. He is an excellent singer and looks great for his age. Gay doesn't mean you have less talent.

Yes he came out at about the same time as Richard Chamberlain. You're right he is talented, that hasn't changed.

Johnny came out in the early-1990's.
And, as a prior poster noted, it changes neither his talent nor his looks.
