My husband and I really like N9ne but are looking for somewhere different for our next trip. Nothing too fancy but price is not really a factor, just no coat and tie requirements. Steak houses would probably be best but any recommendations are appreciated.

I definitely reccomend the Red Square in the Mandalay Bay hotel/casino. We went there for my husabnd's birthday dinner last year and we had a great time. I loved the Russian theme and everything there is red even the lighting. The bar is made entirely of ice! The food was great and more traditional upscale/steakhouse than the Russian that you would assume from the name. The best part of the experience was the atmosphere, it was fun and enjoyable, not stuffy at all. We did not wear any fancy clothes, just looked nice. The price was typical for any nice Vegas restaurant but not really on the high side. I reccomend it because it is different and we had a good time there.

Go to the Flamingo. Walk one block South, turn left. In the strip mall on your left will be a liquor store and an Italian restaurant. Great restaurant. A place where the residents of Las Vegas eat, not the touristas.
A few carafes of their house wine and you'll crawl home. Very good food.

Okay I hardly answer questions, I am mostly on to search for answers and as I was searching i ran into this one and read all the answers, and I have to say I agree with BIG TURBO about the Daily Chicken and Gyros on Maryland pkwy. They are the best I just moved to Vegas only a year ago and that restaurant was the best recommendation I got from my neighbor
my family loves it, I love it. They have this fire grilled chicken which is really good (to die for) and their steak kebab is really good (I know you mentioned steak in your question). I hope you are able to go try them out.

Why not try Joes Stone Crab and Steakhouse
Located in the Forum Shops at Caesars, we have dined there on 4 occasions and love the food and the service.
We usually make an on-line reservation through Open Table.com

I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and ate at 9 too... the food was great. If you go to Wynn, they have an amazing dinner buffet. It is not just a buffet. The food really is good, and they have everything from sushi to lamb and lots of deserts. It is worth the $32.

The Golden Steer is a classic old Vegas steakhouse.

There is a place called Terribles and it is a great place for the 4 am meal. Inexpensive and certainly not glamorous, but a lot of fun and great food.

Emeril has a great place there, little pricey but great food. I've eaten at his place in New orleans and in Florida, you can't go wrong. The service is excellant too.
