If it is not real, then why in hindu relagion,they look at the D.O.B of both guy and girl.? That does,nt make any sense.

It was real at one time but I don't think there are very many astrologers around whom you can trust for the accuracy of their readings. It has become a way to earning quick money. It is sad but that's the way it it.

This is the best way that I like to look at astrology. It's a road map. It shows where you could potentially be going, but it does not necessarily mean that you have to take that path. There is a certain amount of free will allowed. Also, if you look at a birth chart, it's something that you can work through and with. With planetary aspects like squares, you work through the negative energies of them and move onto something better.
I believe that if you let it map out your exact future, than it will. I think that to a certain point, it can predict what will happen. Some things in life are just fated. But in other ways, it's more like "If you don't change this or work this out now, this is what is going to happen to you."

Maybe you should visit my blog and read about the history of Astrology. It really is up to you to judge, if you believe it is a waste of time or not.
Visit www.astro.com and enter your birth info-read the sample reading. On Thursday go back and check out your long term influences for free....and then decide.
It has helped me learn alot-about other's and about myself. It's very ancient stuff, dating back to biblical times. It is all very personal, no two charts, even in identical twins are exactly the same, but they can end up along the same path in many ways.

to put a Q on any sub or criticise one shd have some knowledge on that sub lest really its a waste.

Definitely a waste of time. It's done for the same reason that people have their palms read or a tarot reading done. A lot of people want to desparately grasp on to some higher reason for everything.

it's a waste of time, believing in that sh*t can really screw you up sometime. think like this, every thought you give out is energy, if you keep convincing yourself of something, that thing can eventually become true...depending on how much "faith" you have

who believe in those things like astrology they think that it is something that they will get some idea of their future. but who does not believe astrology they think its just of waste.it depends on them or on their belief.thank u.

It is superstitious nonsense. There is no science behind it. Yes, in India they believe in it but they also worship cows. It is all fake.
