Sight.

I'm legally blind, so sight would be the most likely choice.

Why I didn't choose the other senses:

***Hearing***
Humans are social animals, and hearing is an important part of our lives.

***Touch***
Touch is a necessary part of life, as pain is a sure sign that something is wrong with your body. Plus, it's good to be able to feel pleasure.

***Taste***
Taste plays a vital role in appetite and hunger, and can help a person distinguish whether food is rotten or spoiled.

***Smell***
Smell is closely linked to taste. Without smell, our sense of taste is seriously compromised. Smell also alerts you if food is rotten or spoiled.

I couldn't choose. I love the sense of smell, the smell of a fire or rain. Sight, I love to see the beauty of this earth, Touch, I love to touch people and animals, Hear, I love to hear a child sing or my family say they love me, Taste, I love the taste of pumpkin pie and coffee. So you see, I can't choose among the 5 senses, but my 6th sense, the sense of ESP, I would be willing to part with, I guess.

Probably smell. It would suck a bit not being able to smell things cooking, but at least you could still taste the food. And the other senses are too vital to sacrifice.

This is a tough one, and thinking it though, if I HAD to to lose one, I'd say sight. The other senses Are vital and would heightened without your sight. (Of course, I'd prefer to keep them all.) Without taste, you could eat something bitter and, thus , possibly poisonous. You sense of smell would alert you to fires and other such dangers. Hearing; you could if some "dangers" were coming upon (such as some one breaking in on you). And, of course, feeling (or touch) allows you to feel pain, which alerts you to fire, sharp objects and so forth.

If I had to choose which sense to lose I would choose my sense of hearing. There is way too much noise in the world!

That is a tuffy...smell would have been my first choice but the olfactory nerves have so much to do with taste...and i could never lose my taste cause i like food too much. To never feel anything and that's being able to feel things as well as not feeling anything hmmm might be useful tho when you cut yourself. sight and hearing are a no no......smell so long as it doesn't interfere with my taste
