My house looks like a landing strip. I am expecting a plane to fly though the window any minute.

I haven't put up my tree yet. I normally put it up the Saturday after Thanksgiving but we had a youth seminar at church today. I hope to get it up soon though.

I prefer just all white lights. I have a 5 and 6 year old and they like the mixed colors.

What wonderful memories you are creating!! This is their best age for all the magic of the holidays. I put the tree up last week. This year we decorated with the theme of birds! I am still adding ornaments. The lights are all white this year for the first time. Happy Holidays!!

Did today, it's all white. My mom finds mixed colors all tacky since they don't blend with her ornaments. I grew up with mixed lights though and that ugly looking wrapped stuff and the homemade ornaments with a flocked tree, I always thought those were the best kind :) Now we get a fake tree that looks like it belongs in a designer store eh.

If it became my way i ought to have had the Christmas decorations up earlier Halloween. We in many situations positioned our decorations a pair days earlier Thanksgiving. We comparable to to earnings from the lighting fixtures fixtures and the decorations. Beside's, if we do not do it then we get too lazy and under no circumstances do it in any respect.

Put it up today. We found a tree at Lowes that already had the lights and the branches opened up when we pulled it out of the box.
Really easy to do.

I'm 14 and I remember putting up the tree. I would ask my mother the day after Halloween if we could put it up. Well this year we put it up friday and we used Red lights, and planning to use clear lights aswell.

I just wanted to inform you of a couple of verses in the Bible that I thought you might find interesting. Jeremiah 10:3-5, For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. To me that sounds like a Christmas tree that's being decorated. Also, in Revelation 1:12-15, And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furance; and his voice as the sound of many waters. That there sounds to me like someone just described Santa Clause. Last but certainly not least, Revelations 8:13, ...Woe, woe, woe... Doesn't Santa say Ho, ho, ho???? The Bible specifically states that the devil tries to be like Jesus to confuse us. Please read all of this and sit there and just REALLY think about what the Bible says about it. Here's another website you can visit that will be more help http://www.goodnewsaboutgod.com/studies/Holidays2.html. They have a lot of good information. God Bless.
